Director of Business Development and Activation

Iron Rose FC is seeking a highly motivated, organized and professional individual to direct, grow and execute team revenue via corporate partnerships and ticket sales. This individual should be a resourceful and creative self-starter who possesses strong sales and communication skills and is able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

CORPORATE PARTNERSHIP

  • Generate leads from local and regional businesses for corporate partnership sales 

  • Target appropriate contacts and foster relationships with targeted businesses for corporate partnerships

  • Create traditional and online partnership presentations 

  • Sell partnerships and assist in the presentation and sale of partnerships

  • Track and manage existing partnership inventory and available inventory

  • Manage with colleagues the fulfillment of contracts with all partners including event planning/management, event/game day, online and in community elements

TICKET SALES:

  • Contact youth soccer clubs and local businesses to organize group ticket sales and promote ticket sales via promo code to be emailed to large groups

  • Manage renewal campaign targeting previous season ticket holders

  • Sell season tickets to soccer and business communities

EVENTS & GAME DAY:

  • Working with colleagues to execute special events throughout the year to maximize community engagement

  • Assisting with planning and setup of game day; some lifting, carrying, and moving of boxes, merchandise, and equipment will be required

  • Acting as a liaison to our VIP partners and season ticket holders

Compensation:

  • We offer a base, commission, and revenue sharing package based on experience and performance

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree preferred 

  • Experience in sports sales or special events sales preferred 

  • Candidates with ticket sales and/or sponsorship sales and service experience will be strongly considered

  • Flexibility: Ability to work irregular hours, nights and weekends

  • Driving: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required

  • Proficiency with presentation development and general office software is necessary

This position will report to the ownership group.
